Testimonies
"Recently we required a re-wire of my mother - in - laws house. Mr Matthew Payne was chosen to carry out the work. His quote was competitive and when viewing the job he was friendly and helpful, explaining exactly what would be involved and what was required for wiring regulations. He completed the work on time and to a good standard, considering the awkward working conditions with furniture and carpets having to be worked around. We would recommend his workmanship to anyone - A job well done!"Steve Culkin - Durrington
"We wanted to renew our kitchen and whilst my husband is a very good DIYer, with all the rules and regulations regarding electrics, he knew his limitations. So, despite names of electricians given by friends, we wanted to ensure that the person we chose was properly qualified to do the work within our home. We searched around and found Matt. What a find! We wanted to rearrange the wall sockets and have new one put in and sort out the main earth bonding. Not only was Matt able to give us the necessary quote at a fair price but he also gave us his valued advice and guidance and always allowed us to make the final decisions. This proved it's worth - we found that the previous 'qualified' electrician had wired the cooker direct to the socket at a diagonal angle - even my husband knew that was wrong and dangerous! It didn't matter what we asked Matt to do; he was there to offer his assistance. He was always prepared to go the extra mile and it was a pleasure doing business with him. He has since done a lot more work for us including fitting a new consumer unit, converting single sockets to doubles, installing electric heaters, installing outside lights and running armoured cable outside for a new circuit. Would we recommend him? Only if it didn't interfere with any work we wanted doing!" A word from the husband: "I agree with everything my 'manager' has said!"Margaret and Henry Sam's - Salisbury, Wiltshire
Thanks for your work we are very pleased with what you have done. Jeanette (from Salisbury)
"My electrics are vintage 1960's! They have been chopped and changed and added too many times since. Not hard to imagine what Matt was confronted with when he arrived. Much to my relief and within a surprisingly short time he had a plan which after a lot of work all completed within a day, the previous mess had turned into one neat box of switches all ready and tested. All has worked well since then."Jim Ghinn - Verwood, Dorset
"We only required a small electrical job doing, changing the kitchen lighting to LED lighting, and found Matt very prompt in replying to our emails, easy to talk to and happy to discuss the 'ins and outs' of what we wanted to achieve and 'educate' us in new lighting technology. In fact he was the only electrician who responded to several requests for quotes so we feel fortunate that, despite having other bigger projects on his 'to do' list, he was happy to come and do a half day piece of work for us. He fitted us into his work schedule very quickly (another surprise), we are very pleased with the result and will certainly use him again."Mike and Brenda, Salisbury
